The Island is a beautiful stretch of land surrounded by the River Avon.  It is a short walk from the centre of South Brent.  The Island was bought for the village by the residents in 1994.

This web site is intended to help you understand the history and management of the island and give you some idea of the diversity in this special spot in South Brent.
