·               Funky-bizness community choir every Wednesday in the Craft Room in South Brent Old School Community Centre at 7.30-9.15pm. We have some more beautiful classic soul, R&B and pop songs to sing, transcribed and arranged by Pete Scott, as usual, to be as easy to sing as possible. These are songs that produce big smiles whenever people hear them - that light people up with their infectious rhythm, sense of fun, beautiful melodies and often inspirational lyrics. (Pete also plays guitar and you may have seen him play at one of the breakfast cafes in South Brent with his Half of the Hothouse Band trio.) You don’t have to be able to read music as the teaching is by ear, but if you find it helpful ‘the dots’ will be available (along with mp3s of the parts). Both experienced singers and people who haven’t sung before are welcome.

For newcomers YOUR FIRST SESSION IS FREE so you can try it out and check it out by the end of the evening whether you want to continue. If you do, it is £60 for the term (12 sessions) or you can spread the cost to a very manageable £15/month. (It works out at only £5 per session.)
